One of my favorite places to visit with my kids is to Pennsylvania Dutch Country. We have been there several times with the kids & every time, it has been a blast. It’s a fun trip for our family because it’s just a couple hours away from the DC area and it’s super kid-friendly. There are so many things to see and do, but one of our favorite memories from our trips to the area is a stop by HERSHEY’S CHOCOLATE WORLD.
When we plan our family trips, we strive to make our vacations low-key, fun, & exciting for both the kids and adults. With three young children, we often take the kids’ leads about what we do and when, trying to keep our days so they aren’ t jam-packed with things to do. We try to find places that kids (and adults) of all ages will enjoy, so everyone will have fun. HERSHEY’S CHOCOLATE WORLD is a great stop for families, if you are visiting the area. It’s free, fun, & educational and there is something for everyone.
This spring, I shared with all that HERSHEY’S CHOCOLATE WORLD was re-launching the iconic Chocolate Making Tour. Well, I am excited to say that it is officially open and would be a great stop for your summer travel adventures. This is my kids’ favorite thing to do at HERSHEY’S CHOCOLATE WORLD On the tour, visitors can see, feel, hear, and smell the transformation of cocoa beans to Hershey’s famous chocolate. It’s a fun and free experience for everyone and it ends with a special Hershey’s sample!
Updated for this summer, this newly reimagined ride provides a look into the magical, modern world of chocolate making, from bean to bar. Some of the features include: enhanced set that create a fully immersive and interactive experience for families, some new fun animals in the barnyard scene, & an all refreshed finale scene that brings together sweet memories of families enjoying the tour with those from other HERSHEY’S CHOCOLATE WORLD attractions around the world.
Once you are done with the tour, there is a variety of other options that your family can do. You can create your own ultimate candy bar, check out the 4D Chocolate Mystery show, journey on the Hershey Trolley though Hershey, PA, and more. One of our favorite stops after the HERSHEY’S CHOCOLATE WORLD tour is visiting the Hershey store for some of our favorite Hershey chocolates.
If you are looking for a fun summer adventure for your family, make sure to visit HERSHEY’S CHOCOLATE WORLD It’s a sweet stop for kids & adults of all ages!
