Dinners in this house need to be made QUICK and EASY. There is no messing around with dinner time around here. Just so you want to know what life is like around here, let’s recreate what life looks like in this household at 5:00 pm:
#1: Little baby girl Abby is waking up, eager to nurse, and then be within 12 inches of her mommy for the next couple hours.
#2: Two year old Andrew is either ripping pages out of one of his books or taking out all of the couch cushions to make his own spaceship or tearing through the kitchen counters to find his cups to build his own skyscraper.
#3: Four year old Aiden, who has been up and next to my side ALL DAY long starting at 6 am, is begging me for cookies because he is SO hungry that he can not bear to wait a 1/2 hour until dinner. If he’s not begging for cookies, he is trying to “help” make dinner often leading into a giant mess of utensils strewn everywhere and squashed cherry tomatoes that he tried to cut with his plastic butter knife.
#4: The house is a complete disaster, my morning AND afternoon coffee have worn off, husband just called and said that his meeting will run a little later tonight, and I have about three more hours until bedtime where I will collapse on the couch in a stupor.
I know all you fellow moms understand this picture, right? So when I heard about Kraft Recipe Makers, I knew that this would be the perfect solution to a quick and easy dinner meal time. I was excited to come across this product when I was doing my grocery shopping at Safeway in the “Meal Starters” area of the store. There were several dinner choices of the Recipe Makers, but as big Mexican fans in this house, I knew that we would have to try the Verde Chicken Enchiladas. Now, let me share with all of you on why you should try this product.
1. Look at the small amount of ingredients that I needed to make these enchiladas. The Recipe Makers box, corn tortillas, shredded cheese, and cooked chicken (thank goodness for the Sunday special of rotisserie chicken at the store, I didn’t even have to cook the chicken myself and it tasted so much better!).
