The Chirping Moms

Super Summer Saturday!

July 6, 2013

It’s time for another Super Summer Saturday.

There’s something about summer that makes us want to try new things:  recipes, crafts, kid activities, and more.  We are excited to continue this new series with you all and are feeling inspired to try some new and fabulous things (except I am in vacation mode and staying unplugged most of the weekend!).  We would love to hear about your favorite summer recipes, details on the best summer vacation spots, summer crafts for both adults AND kids, and more.

Here are some of our kid-related favorites:

  • Jello Shaved Ice, Tips from a Typical Mom
  • Fun Summer Service Ideas, Pennies of Time
  • 4th of July Wands (could do for any occasion!), Tip Toe Fairy
  • DIY Water Wall, Frogs and Snails and Puppy Dog Tails
And for the adults, our favorites include:
  • How to Make Post-It’s, Now At Home Mom
  • Samoa Bundt Cake, Saving You Dinero
  • Paint Chip and Stenciled Art, Tarnished Silver
  • Smores Fudge, Wine and Glue

This week, we have linked up a great travel idea, Where to Wednesday:  Scottsdale, Arizona and Festive Food for the 4th of July.  Link up below, visit some other great blogs to get inspired, and come back next week to join the fun again!
