2. The best time to visit is during the week due to the large crowds. But with three little kids & busy schedules, we had no choice but to visit on the weekend.

3. I recommend taking the Metro in. Unless you are staying right in downtown DC, the Metro is a super easy option. My husband always likes to drive in, but I voted for the Metro & it was a great idea.
