Halloween is a few weeks away and today we’re sharing fun crafts for kids and our favorite Halloween outfits from Mini Boden. These 3 Halloween paper plate masks are frightfully fun! These masks are fun for Halloween parties and classroom activities too. We made a black cat mask, a pumpkin mask and a ghost mask. Here’s how we made each one:

Black Cat Paper Plate Mask

  • Black paper plate or paint/color a white paper plate black
  • Black paper
  • pink paper
  • popsicle stick

Paint or color the paper plate black (or buy black plates). Cut out two circle eyes at the top of the plate. Then make cat ears, a nose and some whiskers out of the paper glue it to the mask. Last glue on the popsicle stick.

Pumpkin Paper Plate Mask

  • Orange paper plate or paint/color a white paper plate orange
  • Black paper
  • Brown paper
  • green paper or pre-shredded paper
  • popsicle stick

Paint or color the paper plate orange (or buy orange plates). Cut out two triangle eyes at the top of the plate. Then make the rest of the pumpkin face with the black paper and glue it to the mask. Last make the stem and leaves. Last glue on the popsicle stick.

Ghost Paper Plate Mask

  • White paper plate
  • Black paper
  • popsicle stick

For this one I did a version without cutting out the eyes. But if you want to be able to see through it, feel free to cut eyes here too! You need 2 circle and 1 oval cut from the black paper. Then just glue them on the mask along with the popsicle stick!

And now for these frightfully cute Halloween clothes… The outfits in the post are all from Mini Boden. Mini Boden helps kids get into the spooky Halloween spirit with items like an appliqué witch or glow-in-the-dark spiders. Everything is 100% cotton, easy care and great quality.  There are glow-in-the-dark characters and freaky felines all made of purr-fectly soft fabrics.

Along with Halloween clothes, Boden’s new Live Now campaign comes at the perfect time for dressing up for Halloween – it encourages children to be whoever they want to be: “if you dream it, you can be it”.

A few of our friends are sharing some frightfully good fun on their blogs along withmore Mini Boden Halloween styles!

Together we have great DIY Halloween costumes: The Chirping Moms have a DIY Group Peter Pan Costume, Hello Baby Brown has an adorable DIY lumberjack, clown and unicorn and A Little J & K has the coolest DIY wind up doll costume.  Looking for fun Halloween crafts and treats? We have those too! The Chirping Moms are sharing 3 easy Halloween paper plate masks, Positively Pearson made Candy Corn Rice Krispie Treats, Mommamosa made some Rice KREEPY Treats. Trick or treat!
