Red, White & Blue Activities for Girls

June 16, 2021

If your girls like getting crafty around the holidays, we’ve got some fun activities for them to try for 4th of July! These are fun for them to do with their friends, to prep for 4th of July parties or even as camp activities. My girls and I created some patriotic bracelets, festive red, white and blue nails and even some patriotic sunglasses for kids. Enjoy!

3 Easy Patriotic DIY Activities for Girls

1. DIY USA Bracelets

These are fun for all ages. I even made a few I will be wearing for the 4th. Here’s what we used:

  • Letter beads & heart beads
  • Beads: we love this set
  • String: both of the sets above come with some string. Otherwise, any thin, stretchy cord works!

You could also use the supplies to make red, white & blue friendship pins. Visit this post for details.

2. Easy 4th of July Nails

We had a lot of fun with these! We did red, white & blue in order and added these cute star stickers once dry. Here’s where we got these colors and the stickers:

  1. Red, white, blue nail polish (If you want all Piggy Paint, use the white linked and this set that has red and blue)
  2. Star nail stickers

3. Patriotic Sunglasses for Kids

We got this idea from @etst last summer when her girls created these amazingly fun glasses for the #CampPinkChicken. We wanted to make some this summer and ended up with a bunch of red, white & blue supplies so we made patriotic sunglasses!

If you visit Kelle’s Instagram post, there’s a video showing how to make the glasses. For ours, we used:

  1. white sunglasses
  2. red star shaped craft gems
  3. blue gems

Pin this crafty post for later!
