Father’s Day Gift Guide: 5 Fun Gifts Ideas for Dads {& Free Printable}

June 7, 2016

This year we’re keeping our Father’s Day Gift Guide short, sweet and fun. We’ve got things for Dad to use, things to make and even a free printable. It doesn’t get sweeter! Here are 5 fun gift ideas for Dads:

1. Dad Can Do Anything Book

We wrote about the Amazing Mom book around Mother’s Day (click here for details). Compendium also makes an awesome version for Dad. It’s called “Dad Can Do Anything”. These books are a treasure in our house and they’d make a terrific Father’s Day gift! You can order them from the Compendium site or on Amazon. Did I mention it’s only $9.95? Order soon so your child has plenty of time to spend illustrating it.

2. Tom & Teddy

Since it’s summer time, why not get Dad a cool new suit to wear to the pool and beach? Our favorites are the Tom & Teddy line because you can get a matching suit for boys.  We’ve had these suits the past 2 summer and love how they stand up to tons of sun and wash. The Dads like the neat patterns. Tom & Teddy is an Australian-born brand that launched in the US last year. We both have sets for our husbands/sons and love the prints and quality. They are UV protected with UPF 50+, salt water and chlorine resistant and they;re made of a quick-drying, super soft, microfiber fabric.

3. Shutterfly Photo Gifts

Just like other holidays, Shutterfly is a go-to spot for Father’s Day gifts. They are great quality, always have awesome deals and most importantly they’re unique and from the heart. Shutterfly photo gifts are fun for Dads, Grandpas, etc. Julie made an awesome water bottle for Grandpa with pictures of her three kiddos throughout the year. For fun ideas for Father’s Day photo shoots with the kids, check out this post. Then you can use the photos for cards and gifts on Shutterfly!

4. DeWalt Deal On Amazon

If Dad likes tools, this Fathers Day Amazon has a great deal on everything DeWalt. I spotted it while looking for a new set of drill bits for our special guy. You get $20 off $100. Once you add DeWalt items to your cart, the $20 comes off automatically. There are tons of great items to choose from.

5. Free Printable: An easy way for kids to write Dad great letter!

Here’s a fun way for kids to fill out a letter to give Dad on Father’s Day. It’s great to see how they respond and it’s something special for Dad to cherish for years to come. Click here to download and print.
