The Chirping Moms

A Helpful New Subscription for Moms

May 7, 2013

So far (knock on wood) I’ve never run out of diapers or wipes. I’ve come close, but I always find one to get us through until our Diapers.com order arrives. I always make sure we have the supplies on hand that we need for the kids. That’s not the case when it comes to taking care of myself. I often run out of shampoo & end up using baby wash, i’ve used toddler tooth paste & never seem to remember when “my time of the month” is rolling around. My period always seems to arrive during nap time on a rainy day when there isn’t a feminine product to be found anywhere in the house. This means waiting until the kids wake up, putting them in the car to drive somewhere (or running down the street if by chance it’s not raining) & on top of dealing with pms & cramps, i’m dealing with two screaming kids at the grocery store. I don’t know why I keep letting this happen, but month after month I end up in the same situation. While joking with a friend about this unpleasant situation she said “Just use a diaper. You always have those on hand”. I haven’t gotten to that point yet, and won’t now that I found Hello Flo.

Hello Flo is a tampon delivery service. You set up the package you’d like & what your schedule is. Then, each month you receive all of the tampons, pads & liners you need. Also, if you have a sweet tooth (like me) you’ll enjoy the sweet treats that are included. The first order comes with an adorable canvas bin to store your monthly supply in. When my first Hello Flo package arrived, it was certainly the first time “adorable” came to mind when talking about my period. The service is convenient & a lot easier then making a “last minute” grocery store run once a month.
