10 Books for Toddler Boys

September 14, 2017

Today I’m sharing our favorite books for toddler boys. What’s that they say “the days are long and the years are short”? It seems like just yesterday I had two toddler girls in the house all day. There were some very long days, but looking back, the days were filled with two giggling little girls that wore princess costumes all day, loved all things pink and their favorite book (that we read 100 times a day) was Pinkalicious. Since then, those toddler girls grew up. Now they’re in school all day and can read on their own.

While the girls are off at school, the house is now filled with wild and crazy toddler boys. They mostly love breaking things, knocking things over, sword fights with sticks and throwing dirt in each other’s hair. There is only one thing that I can get them to sit still for and it doesn’t last for more than a few minutes: books. At first, they wanted nothing to do with looking at books but then I realized that our book collection might need a bit of a revamp for the boys. Pink princesses and puppies in dresses just weren’t catching their attention. They both love cars, trucks and lawnmowers. I looked around for books they might like and they’ve also gotten some of these as gifts. Right now, these are the 10 books we have out all the time and books my toddler boys love.
