New Year, New Lunchbox Addition!

February 5, 2020

Thank you Brainiac™ Kids for sponsoring this post. Brain food kids want to eat!

It’s hard to get back into the swing of things after Winter break. Personally, I really love the break in making school lunches. After 4 months of packing lunches every morning, it’s nice to not have to think about it for the holiday break. When we head back in January, I often feel like I am totally out of lunch ideas and dread the task. Also, like many people, a “healthy start” is always on my mind in January. So when it comes to lunch packing, I try and come up with a few brand new things to pack (to add some sort of excitement) and try and kick things off a bit healthier than Dec lunches (that may or may not have been made of Christmas cookies….). Enter: Brainiac™ Kids, our new lunchbox addition for this new year. Brainiac™ Kids is a new applesauce and the only snack that includes essential brain fueling nutrients that every kid needs in their diet (but usually not getting enough of).

So now my boring lunches have a new (super easy) addition and my “make the lunches healthier” goal is hit too. Each pouch has a BrainPack® which is Brainiac™ Kids one-of-kind blend of omega-3 DHA/EPA and choline. It’s so cool that with a Brainiac™ Kids applesauce in their lunchbox, kids get as much as 90% of their daily omega-3s which they need to help them reach their full potential. Doesn’t knowing that make you feel less pressure for packing the rest of the lunch? Sure does for me!

Most of my lunch toting kids enjoy pouches so it’s an easy thing to toss in a lunchbox. Pouches are convenient and with stats like this, you can feel pretty good about adding them in a school lunch: in one 3.2oz Brainiac™ pouch, your kiddo will be getting:

  • They have as much omega-3 DHA/EPA as a 1 oz. of salmon
  • They have as much Choline as 2 cups of broccoli
  • They are made with 100% real fruit and no added sugars or artificial preservatives
  • It’s applesauce that’s made with seasonal apple varieties that are picked at peak freshness, washed, peeled and pureed to maintain their sweetness.

Brainiac™ Kids pouches also make great after school snacks and an easy thing to pack for “life on the go” post school – sports, activities, playground trips, etc. After you pack those lunch boxes in the morning…. fueling kids still seems to last all day right?

Where can you find Brainiac™ Kids? Add them to your Amazon order! Brainiac™ Kids are available in apple, strawberry and cinnamon flavors are available on Amazon.com.
