Preparing for a Fall-on-the-Go

September 9, 2019

We’re heading into fall which always seems to be our most “on-the-go” season. Maybe it’s because it comes after summer, which is our super relaxed season. Fall means 4 kids starting school and activities. As they grow, our fall season gets busier and busier. My husband and I recently sat down to chat all things fall schedules and how we’re going to attack our weekends on the go and what my week will look like.

This year, I’ll have kids in 2 schools: the big kids in full day school and 2 in preschool (but with opposite schedules – one in the AM and one in the PM). The weekends will be 4 different team sports all on Saturdays: 2 soccer teams (one that my husband coaches), 2 fall softball teams. Sundays we like to do something as a family after church (visit farms in the fall, parks, etc). How to tackle and feel ready for a fall on the go? I haven’t mastered a life on the go (I’m working on it ha!). BUT I’ve got one tip and one must-have product for my life…color coded calendars and Chinet® Comfort Cups® insulated hot cups. Here’s why:

The Tip: Color-coded calendar by kid. Yes, I still do a paper calendar AND planner. In the fall, each kid gets a color and I write in all their activities, school schedule, school events, sports, play dates, birthday parties to attend, etc. in that one color BOTH in my planner and on our giant paper calendar. This helps me stay organized, helps my husband know what’s going on and for my kids to see.

Now that my big kids can read the calendar and like to have an idea what their week looks like, this is super helpful for them to know what’s going on and for them to help prepare for the week ahead too.

The Product: When I think of last fall’s “life-on-the-go” one thing stands out that: Chinet® Comfort Cup insulated hot cups. I know that might sound strange with all the kids, backpacks, sports gear, etc. but hear me out… in the fall my husband and I have A LOT of things to make sure make it out the door each day: school gear, lunches, sports gear, sports uniforms for running from one sport to another… oh and making sure all 4 kids make it out the door with us! We each only bring one thing for ourselves: our morning beverage.

We help each other out and always make sure the other one has that beverage when running out the door with the gang and their gear. “Don’t forget your coffee!” can be heard yelled out the front door almost every fall morning.

So why do we use Chinet® Comfort Cup® insulated hot cups?

For the easy on-the-go

Grab, fill, add a lid and go. Chinet® Comfort Cup® insulated hot cups make life easy.

Stylish design

Chinet® Comfort Cup® insulated hot cups are nice looking! Cool patterns make morning brighter 🙂

Versatility:  Use for hot beverages, cold beverages, food items.

They’re not just our go-to for our hot beverages for fall mornings. They’ve come in handy for ice coffee for those early morning swim team practices this summer!

This post is sponsored by Chinet. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
