Easy Easter Activity: Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt

March 30, 2020

Looking for a fun Easter themed activity for the kids? Since egg hunts are all cancelled this year, I’ve been trying to think of a few fun easy Easter activities to keep the kids busy while we’re home. We’ll do our own mini egg hunt at some point but thought of another way to use all those plastic Easter eggs: an easy Easter scavenger hunt!

egg hunt 1

I was going to make this a free printable but feel like everyone is a little overwhelmed with all the school activities they are printing. So this is simple: cut some strips of paper and write down the clues below. Put them inside plastic eggs and put in the spots listed. Skip the ones you don’t want and/or add in some of your own. There’s an option for just inside, just outside OR if you really want to occupy the kids a while… inside AND outside! Enjoy 🙂

Easy Easter Scavenger Hunt

INDOOR CLUES

Hippity hoppity Easter’s on it’s way. Go to the spot where you start your day.

Don’t step on the bunny’s tail, ouch! Go to pay a visit to room with a couch.

Here comes a little chick, now there’s two. Go to the spot where you keep your shoe.

I hope you’re in a cheerful mood! Go to the spot where we keep our food.

Girls and boys, head to where we keep our toys.

Looking for your next direction? Head to where you can see your reflection..

Hip, hip, hop, hop. You’re doing great so don’t stop! Find a prize where you head to lay down and close your eyes

OR CONTINUE OUTDOORS: Hip, hip, hop, hop. You’re doing great so don’t stop! Lace up your shoes, head outside, look on the stairs and you won’t lose!

OUTDOOR

Lace up your shoes, then head outside and check the stairs so you won’t lose!

Let the Easter cheer ring! Run on over to where you swing.

My bunny ears are soft, not one spike…. head on over to where we keep your bike.

Hop, hop, hop I’ve got bunny powers! This is where we plant our flowers….

This was fun, but there is no more… last skip on over to the front door!
