Friday Favorites: The 2017 B-Ready stroller.

November 19, 2016

For this week’s Friday Favorites, I am thrilled to share details on the new Britax B-Ready Stroller! I think it’s safe to the biggest mistake I made on my baby registry was in the stroller category. I remember walking down the stroller aisle, getting totally overwhelmed and walking right back out. A friend gave me a base to pop my infant carrier in and besides that I made a last minute decision to register for a jogging stroller. I was pretty sure the only time I was going to be pushing a stroller was on all the long runs I would be taking. Seven years have gone by and I have yet to run more than a mile with a stroller. I discovered real fast that strollers were a lot more necessary I thought and that giant aisle of strollers had a lot more to offer than I realized. Looking back, I wish I did research and wish I talked to moms about what I should have looked for. I also wish I had thought of the future and how I would be using strollers as our family continued to grow.

Fast forward 7 years and 4 babies and my stroller needs have really changed. In that time, I have tried tons (and tons) of strollers. I love learning about and trying out strollers. This summer I got a sneak peek at the  new 2017 Britax B-Ready Stroller. I quickly realized Britax had checked all the boxes when it comes to an extremely functional stroller.

After the sneak peak, I got a B-Ready stroller of my own and got to work trying out all of the different features. I have used it as a single stroller, a double stroller and even with a 3rd child riding along. The B-Ready stroller has 12 configurations. Yes, 12 different ways to use it. Britax thought of everything with this stroller.

Even with 3 in tow, everyone was happy and comfortable and I found it easy to push. I’ve used many double strollers before, but this is the first time I have tried a rumble seat. I always thought it looked tricky to use and not comfortable, but I really wish I tried one sooner. Tommy loves it. It’s so much easier to push a front to back stroller this way; the weight it distributed so much better. I wish I had this stroller sooner because I love using a bassinet on a stroller for infants. I could never do it very often because I always needed a double stroller. This is the only stroller I have seen that you can use a bassinet and comfortably have another little one in the stroller.

What’s crazy about this stroller is that even though there are 12 ways to configure it and you can fit up to three children on it, there is still a really large basket underneath! I usually find that as soon as you add an extra seat to a stroller, you lose out on storage, but not with the B-Ready.

The B-Ready stroller offers a quick-fold design which makes it really easy to use daily and also to travel with. There’s also a  “Click & Go System” that provides easy connection to any Britax infant car seat to make it a perfect travel system.

I’ve found it easier to use, more comfortable for the kids and more storage than other brands on the market. I’d highly recommend this stroller. If you’re just registering for a stroller, don’t make the mistake I did. Do your research and think of all the scenarios of when/where you’ll need a stroller. Also think about how your stroller if going to have to grow with your family. If you plan on having more children, get a stroller that will adapt to your changing needs.

Hey, such cute strollers over there! I’ve never seen such strollers before as I though that strollers are only for one baby. I must have been living in a cave on a deep forest 😀
