Easter season is the time for…PEEPS!  It’s the Easter candy that always ends up in our house but never eaten.  So what do you do with all those Peeps that are so adorable that you just can’t seem to throw them away?  Today, we are sharing six different Peep crafts and activities.  Some are for kids and some are for moms because we want all “peep”le to be able to enjoy a little Peep love!
1. Peep Chair Backer

Supplies Needed: Peeps, Paper Plate, Marker, Glue Gun/Glue, Ribbon
Directions:  Glue the Peeps around the paper plate to look like a wreath.  Write name in middle of the plate.  Add ribbon to the back with glue and attach to chair.

2. Peep Drawing

Supplies Needed:  Paper, Marker, Plates
Directions:  Glue a Peep to paper and have kids draw a story about their character Peep. My three year old has “Marshall Peep” enjoying the hot beach while my five year old has “Rocket Peep” in a submarine under the ocean.  Let your little ones use their imagination!
3. Peep Table Runner

Supplies Needed:  Plain fabric, Paint, Peeps
Directions:  Lay down the fabric and stamp the fabric with Peeps covered in paint.  (I let my boys do this with me!)  Let dry.  When done, you can sew the raw edges or just use fabric glue and glue them under.

4. Peep Smores:

Peeps Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

1 Box of cake mix

1 tub of icing

2 packs of Bunny Peeps

Spring Mix Nestle Chips (or sprinkles)

Directions:

Make 1, 8″ round cake according to directions.

Once cool, ice the cake. We make our icing green because my kids wanted it to look like “grass for the bunnies”. Stick the Peeps onto the frosting around the cake. Top with colored chocolate chips or sprinkles.
