Gift Guide for Girls

December 14, 2014

For more holiday inspiration,  please follow our Pinterest boards for our latest pins, including all our favorite holiday ideas!

Tonight it’s time to shop for the girls! I’m just about done shopping for Maggie and Alex and hope this guide helps with finding a gift for the little ladies on your list. We have tons of recommendations and different price points. Below, we also have some of our favorite holiday fashion finds for girls.

The lists are called “wish lists” but also include some items they’ve gotten in the past few months and really enjoy, as well as some gift ideas I came up with. I included a brief “about me” for the girls, to hopefully help other shoppers looking for gifts for girls around the same age. Happy Holidays!

Maggie’s Wish List

A little bit about Maggie: She is almost 5 years old. She loves coloring, dolls and animals. She wants to be a mom and a vet when she grows up. Over the past few months, she’s really sparked an interest in science and building.

1. Corolle: Fashion Dolls // Highchair // Mini Dolls

2. Puppy Surprise

3. Animal Babies

4. Educational Insights Microscope

5. Galt: Science kits like Slippery Slime and their face paint set, Make a Face (both under $10)

Alexandra’s Wish List

A little bit about Alex: She is 3 years old. She loves princesses and playing dollhouse. She likes art projects, reading and cooking. She is also very active!

Our Favorite Holiday Clothes This Season:

Appaman Dresses & Hats: A new brand of dresses for us and we love them. They have great styles to coordinate siblings (there’s boys clothes too). They are high quality and look great after lots of wear and play. The girls say their Appaman dresses are their favorite for “signing and dancing”.

Umi Shoes: Well made, comfortable shoes that were still the “shiny and glittery” fancy shoes the girls requested.

Hanna Andersson Pajamas: This year we chose these pjs for all three kids and even the dog!

Bloomz Hair Accessories : An Etsy shop with beautiful headbands and clips.
