Great Gift Ideas for Dads

May 26, 2015

It’s just under a month until Father’s Day and time to think about some great gifts for those special guys. This year, we tried to come up with a couple new and unique gifts for Dads. From electronics to a relaxing day, we’ve got them covered!
10 Father’s Day Gift Ideas
1. Bathing Suit
June kicks off swim season in many parts of the country and a new suit for Dad is a great gift. Our favorites are the Tom & Teddy line because you can get a matching suit for boys.  Tom & Teddy is an Australian-born brand that launched in the US last year. We both have sets for our husbands/sons and love the prints and quality. They are UV protected with UPF 50+, salt water and chlorine resistant and they;re made of a quick-drying, super soft, microfiber fabric.
2. Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker
The bluetooth speaker I got as a Father’s Day gift last year is one of the gifts that has been “most used”. For the summer, I thought an even better version is one that’s waterproof and can come along to the pool or beach. Altec Lansing makes the “Life Jacket” speaker. We’ve tried it and it’s awesome.  It’s a waterproof/shockproof bluetooth speaker that still offers high quality sound. It’s protected from  a variety of conditions (water, sand, snow, etc.).  Another plus for bringing it to the pool/beach: it also works as a phone charger.

The next few gifts are more of an “experience”. I think it can be tough to shop for Dads sometimes, so these are some fun alternatives to treat Dad to:
3. Golf Lesson
4. Sports Massage
5. Cooking Class
6. Wine Tasting
7. Beer Making Class
8. Date night (gift certificate to movies, restaurant, bar, etc)
9.  A Good Book
