Great for Gifting: Littlest Pet Shop

November 28, 2016

This post was sponsored on behalf of Hasbro’s Littlest Pet Shop. All opinions stated are my own.

It’s taken a few years, but I’ve finally caught on to what kind of toys really keep my girls engaged. They like toys they can set up, get creative, play with over and over again and if they include animals it’s an extra bonus. My girls will be 5 and 6 (almost 7) at Christmas this year. They like a lot of the same things and also a lot of different things too. You’ll see in my gift guides later this week that their individual lists take on a totally different theme. But like I said, they also like a lot of the same things too and seem to get really engaged in the same types of toys.

Toys that engage my girls: creative, things they can set up and play out “stories”, things they can collect and  like I mentioned: animals are a huge plus!

This holiday season the new Littlest Pet Shop toys check off all of those boxes! After browsing the different Littlest Pet Shop toys, I can tell both girls would love and play with anything from this line.

Littlest Pet Shop

I’ve actually been familiar with Littlest Pet Shop toys long before I had kids. My nieces used to collect them I even created a pretty awesome birthday cake out of them for one of their birthdays. I didn’t realize Hasbro was still coming out with new Littlest Pet Shop toys years later, but as soon as I saw them I knew my girls would love them.

Littlest Pet Shop

My girls could spend hours setting up little characters, especially animals like Littlest Pet Shops. I think it’s so important for children to foster creativity through imaginative play and these toys really let them do that. Imaginative play is my girls’ favorite thing to do and I am so thankful for that. Therefore, getting them toys like Littlest Pet Shop, that I know will let them enjoy that kind of play, is important to me.

Here are a few of our favorites for gifting this holiday season:

LITTLEST PET SHOP PET SHOP PLAYSET (MSRP: $29.99):
This toy is a really cool multi-level pet shop and “hang out” for the pets.  It is big enough to hold as many as 30 pets and comes with plenty of accessories to play out tons of stories.

Littlest Pet Shop

LITTLEST PET SHOP PAWRISTAS CAFÉ PLAYSET (MSRP: $19.99):
I must drink way too much coffee because my kids seem to really like playing “coffee shop” When I saw The Littlest Pet Shop Pawristas Café playlet I knew they would love it. There’s a  ‘Pawrista’ cat ready to make coffee!

Littlest Pet Shop

LITTLEST PET SHOP SINGLES ASSORTMENT (MSRP: $2.99):
Kids can  keep collecting adorable new pet pals as they come available in the “Littlest Pet Shop Singles Assortment.” Littlest Pet Shop comes out with  about 40 unique pets each year.

Littlest Pet Shop

If your kids also enjoy playing out the stories they create digitally, there is a Littlest Pet Shop Your World app. You can actually help your child scan their collected pets and then use the app to bring them to life virtually. On the app they can play activities and games with the pets, care for them, dress up their virtual pets and more.

Littlest Pet Shop sets make great holiday gifts for kids and the Littlest Pet Shop singles make the perfect stocking stuffer. Visit Hasbro.com for details on all of the toys available this season. You can also follow along with Littlest Pet Shop on Instagram.
