Holiday Gift Idea: The KidKraft Modern Living Dollhouse

December 3, 2013

This is one gift that I can’t wait to put under the tree on Christmas Eve: The KidKraft Modern Living Dollhouse!

We put the dollhouse together last weekend (my husband did most of the assembly). I had fun putting the adorable furniture in place. We have it all set & ready to bring down when the girls go to sleep Christmas Eve. The dollhouse is bright, cheerful & has a lot of character! I like that it’s very open. Maggie & Alex are only 2 & 3, so they are not great at setting toys up, without knocking them all down. It makes it easier that they will be able to play in a nice “open” room house.

It’s also large enough for multiple children to play at once; this will make sharing easier.

The furniture that it comes with is awesome. The furniture is color coded by room, which is great for explaining how to clean up & also makes for a fun color sorting activity. When the house & furniture are all in place, there is a fun, rainbow like look to it.

This is going to be a great addition to our colorful playroom. The Modern Living Dollhouse is also very sturdy & well made. Now i’m on the hunt for a colorful set of dolls to live in the house.

We were not compensated for this post, however we did receive a dollhouse for review. As always, all opinions are our own.

Omg so stinkin' cute. I never had a dollhouse. And now I have a baby boy, so I may not get one any time soon. These pictures are so precious! I just think that ART of making teeny tiny furniture and accessories sounds so fun. That grill? (I think it's a grill, right? The orange thing?) So precious.

I just bought this but have not yet assembled. How was the assembly process? Was it long?
