Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. I teamed up with Indigo to share the opening of this new store. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Last week I visited the new store Indigo. It’s super popular in Canada and this month the first ever US store opened at the Short Hills mall. To be honest, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when they invited me to cover the opening. I love book stores and it’s even better when they sell gifts, etc so I was interested to see what it was all about. I was blown away by how cool and unique this store is. It’s really a whole new shopping experience for our area and I am so glad I live close enough to shop at Indigo regularly. Plus, the kids area is going to be somewhere we frequent this winter when we need fun indoor activities.

OK, so what is Indigo?

Indigo is a lifestyle shopping destination with a mission to inspire families with life-enriching products and experiences. A force in Canada, they are bringing their first US store to New Jersey at The Malls at Shore Hills where you can find a range of products from books to fashion to cooking to gifts. Indigo is dedicated to inspiring the community with a rich assortment of books, exclusive in-house designed lifestyle products, beautiful gifts, great kids toys, as well as in-store author and celebrity events.

The store is beautiful. It’s bright, open and clean. I love that there are so many different spots throughout the store to sit and read. There are spots in the adult section, the teen/ young reader section and quite a few spots in the children’s department.

Did I mention Indigo has a separate baby section too?

There are events for adults as well as weekly story time for kids. They also have a cafe with coffee, snacks and sandwiches. Indigo is really a store you have to go experience. I tried to capture some of my favorite spots in all of the photos I took for this post but be sure to check out the store for yourself as there is SO much more.

GRAND OPENING EVENTS:

To celebrate the opening of Indigo Short Hills the public is invited to attend a special weekend of family-friendly grand opening events on October 27- 28.
