Back to School 2020: Labeling is More Important Than Ever

September 1, 2020

Has there ever been a back to school year where you felt like labeling was more important than this year? Not only do I feel like it’s important to label all the things they’ll use at school, we have MORE that needs to be sent in than usual. Even our preschooler has a supply list this year. For a year that there’s “no sharing”…. Mabel’s Labels to the rescue. These are my favorite labels every year and I’m excited to have a Mabel’s Labels coupon code to share. There are so many useful items and so many designs to get creative with.

Mabel’s Labels Coupon Code

You can use code  CHIRPINGMOMS for 10% off sitewide* (excluding Stamps, Masks and Sale items).

Here’s how we’re using Mabel’s Labels this school year:

Let’s start with masks.… the new back to school item we never imagined would be accompanying our kids. They’ll have to wear one to school and pack extras. They’ll also have to be labeled because…. no one wants to imagine wearing someone else’s mask by accident! There’s a few ways Mabel’s Labels can help with masks for school:

  1. They now make masks: Mabel’s Labels Masks
  2. Their clothing labels can be put onto your masks
  3. If you have cotton masks, their mini clothing stamp is my favorite. It takes just a second to personalize any of your kids clothes, including masks. I have always used for their sports gear and jackets and this year their masks.

Next up: Back to School label sets. I get these because they come with the perfect amount of labels. I let me kids pick out the color, font and “icon”. They enjoy it and then are happy to help label all their school supplies when they arrive. This year there is no sharing supplies at all: so every glue stick, pencil, etc needs a name on it for us!

Mabel’s Labels are Perfect for Preschool

My all time favorite label from Mabel’s Labels is the shoe label. Do you hear this multiple times a day “mom is this the right foot?” If you do, then this label is for you! It’s a pair of shoe labels where one goes in each shoe so the “picture” is split in half, helping them know which shoe is which. It’s also great if you have kids close in size (like mine) to know which shoes are theirs when you’re trying to get out the door. The shoe labels come in the “Little Kid Combo Pack”.

Another new item I spotted on the Mabel’s Labels site this year are these Line Up Floor Decals. These are awesome to help kids know where to stand for lining up 6 ft apart. Also, since most preschools can’t have rugs anymore, these are a great alternative to make the floor look colorful and for the kids to know where to sit.

Don’t forget, you can use code  CHIRPINGMOMS for 10% off Mabel’s Labels sitewide* (excluding Stamps, Masks and Sale items).
