With Magic Mixies, children get to experience the Wonder of Real Magic. The thing I thought was really fun was the  suspenseful and amazing reveal. As a parent I loved watching how amazed my kids were and how excited they got over the suspense.  Magic Mixies is so much more than a simple magic trick; it is a fantastical journey that allows kids to believe in REAL MAGIC which is pretty special at the holidays. 

Magic Mixies Magical Crystal Ball are recommended for 5+. My 6 and 7 year old thought it as the coolest magic and couldn’t believe how the wand was responding. Their older sisters (10 & 12) enjoyed helping them read the directions and figure out how to use the Magic Mixie. And while he’s too young for using the toy himself, my 2 year old thought the magic and sounds were about the most entertaining thing he’s ever watched.

When they first open up the Magic Mixie, they start their magic by learning and performing the Creation Spell.  The kids use the magic wand to reveal their Magic Mixie. They will be amazed at how the Crystal Ball magically responds to the wand’s movements! For each step of the Creation Spell, you will need to master the correct wand movement and say the magic word for that step so it takes some word and concentration (which is perfect for this age group!). 

Your child will have to go  step by step through the creation spell. As they say magic words and use the wand, magic mist appears, colors change and it’s honestly pretty exciting. Once they’ve done the creation spell they get to remove the top of the Crystal Ball to release their cute new interactive plush toy pet!

Now that they have their new little pet out of the crystal ball they learn how to interact with the Magic Mixie: they can perform spells, play games together and even have their fortune told. The furry, colorful little Magic Mixies are really cute. They make sounds and interact as you perform magic. 

You can also reset the Magical Crystal Ball if they want to perform the mist-filled “reveal” again and again using your Magic Mixie or other items they have. We did the big reveal once and then the boys couldn’t wait for their sisters to come home to perform their magic for them. Then their sisters helped them with learning how to get their Magic Mixie to perform spells and do some cool fortune telling. They now can play games with the Magic Mixie too.
