New Jersey Summer Bucket List Adventures: Free Printable!

June 17, 2019

New Jersey is home to great family-friendly amusement parks, roller coasters, and zoos. Thrill-seekers and families alike will love what this city has to offer, especially during the warmer days.

If you’re on the hunt for some fun adventures for your family trip, here’s a New Jersey bucket list for you! It’s a beautiful place to visit and there are plenty of things you can do.

New Jersey Summer Bucket List Ideas

My kids love bucket lists. We used this one in the winter and this one in the spring and they thought crossing items off was about the best thing ever (and of course there were battles over which kid got to cross the item off after completing it).

So while we were thinking of things to add to a summer list, I thought it would be fun to make a list of places to go and things to see in our great State of New Jersey and create a free printable New Jersey Summer Bucket List Destinations.

Social media is a great help for things like this. I turned to our local Facebook page for ideas on what to add. It was such a fun thread of responses to reading and certainly jam-packed with Jersey pride.

For living here almost my entire life and for it being quite a small state… I quickly realized there’s quite a lot I haven’t seen. This free printable New Jersey Summer Bucket List has 30 great ideas of places to go and things to see, but there are so many more.

Jersey City and Jersey Shore also have amazing sights to see that a lot of people overlook or don’t even think twice of. Places like High Point within High Point State Park between the boundary of Wantage Township and Montague Township, Sussex County is an outstanding place to go!

If your family is a science nerd, the Liberty Science Center is the perfect place for interactive fun and learning. Did I also mention that Six Flags is a great adventure place if you’re looking for some thrill and fun?

Take a long walk and get some fresh air in Liberty State Park too! Or see the iconic boardwalk in Atlantic City.

Don’t miss the Statue of Liberty in the Garden State as well!

New Jersey has a lot of sights to share. If you’re planning on a trip this weekend, tomorrow, or a few days from now, this bucket will help you! From water parks, museums, zoos, and everything in between! I would love for you to comment on the post or Instagram with more places. I will continue to add to this list and eventually make an even bigger printable.
