The Chirping Moms

Our Month in Italy {Video Edition}

March 26, 2019

I promised myself I would write more while we were in Italy last summer. I didn’t nearly as much as I hoped. It wasn’t really a lack of time because it was quite a relaxing month and the kids were exhausted and went to bed early almost every night. Me, being the night owl I am, never did. I think it’s that I had trouble and still have trouble putting into words what our time last summer in Italy meant to me, meant to us. Someday I’ll write about that and in the meantime, the incredible Isbell Family Films put it into a video. Here’s our month in Italy:

If you’re curious on the order of the video and where we were: Rome then Santa Margherita, Florence, a small town in Tuscany (Seici), Venice and back to Florence. I’ll be finishing up the city guides soon but if you’re heading to any of these locations with kids and need tips, just shoot me an email! Here’s what we have so far:

  • 10 Places to Eat in Florence with Kids
  • Venice with Kids
  • Tuscany with Kids
  • Rome with Kids
  • Where to Stay in Florence with Kids

And yes, they drank from ALL the fountains and Miles did in fact eat adult size meals at every restaurant!

I found Isbell Family Films thanks to Instagram and it’s been the best investment I’ve made in a long time. I’ll share our London video soon and we do the “subscription” where we’ll get a couple of family films a year. I add all my silly clips from my photo to her site and she creates videos. The kids and I have watched this movie about 50 times since she sent it… yesterday 🙂
