Rain, rain go away. Come again another day…
We have had one rainy Spring here! We saw a little sun this afternoon but the forecast is calling for 4 days in a row of rain starting tonight. Today we tried a little rainy day paper plate umbrella craft. It was easy, fun and then of course the boys had to play with the umbrellas. I hope they’re not disappointed when they try to use them in the rain tomorrow! This is also a great craft for learning about the letter U in preschool. I hope this fun little activity helps you entertain the kids in the rain.
Rainy Day Paper Plate Umbrella Craft:
Supplies: paper plates, pipe cleaners, dot paints or markers, scissors, tape
Directions: Cut the paper plates in half. Decorate your half of the plate with dot paints or markers. Take 2 pipe cleaners & twist them together. Curve the one end to look like an umbrella handle and tape it to the paper plate.
