Finding great shoes for kids feet in the summer time is key. It’s not always easy though. They are going to get really dirty, so should be easy to clean. They also need to be lightweight and preferable worn without socks, but at the same time stay on their feet. In our family, summer shoes get many miles on them before September comes.
From long days in the yard to sightseeing and travel, we really wear through our summer shoes. Quality is important. For the 2nd summer in a row, we found great summer shoes at Pediped.
Maggie would run barefoot all the time if I let her. So the lighter the shoe the better. For Maggie I went with the Flex Sahari. They are water-safe and can go from the backyard to the beach.
Alex has very narrow feet and ankles. It’s very difficult to find shoes that fit her well besides sneakers. I love the Pediped Flex Canyon because the ankle area comes up high enough to stay on her feet and support her ankles.
The awesome colors and patterns of the Pediped make them appealing to kids too. I think they even look cute with dresses.
This is Tommy’s first summer on the move, so support was important in picking shoes for him. I went with the Grip ‘n’ Go. They are easy to get on his chubby toddler feet and he runs around all day in them.
Julie’s crew is also enjoying the outdoors in Pediped. Like me, Julie likes how easy it is to clean these shoes and how well they hold up to days and days of play. Pediped also makes adorable white dress sandals for little girls.
