Baby #3 will be here in a few weeks. I’m not quite sure if he or she will arrive before, after or even on Halloween! So, I am trying to get prepared and also think of some easy ways to celebrate. Below are some of our favorite, simple ways to make a Halloween party more festive! If you’re looking for some great FREE Halloween printables for your party, visit this post. For 30 fun activities to do at your Halloween party, visit this post.

Some Simple Halloween Party Ideas:

DIY Placemats

Supplies: Orange construction paper, black marker, Halloween stickers

Directions: Write the child’s name on the placemats and let them decorate with stickers while they are waiting for their meal or snacks to arrive. This is a really easy way to make the table look festive!

Pumpkin Drinks

Supplies: Milk jugs (the ones pictured are in the $ Spot at Target right now) or use plastic cups, straw,  Sharpie marker or beverage clings. I found these Beverage Clings at Target and they are awesome. The pack comes with a ton of them and they are easy to use.

Directions: Draw a pumpkin face on the cup or use beverage cling. Fill with orange juice and straw.

The pack of beverage blinds from Target came with ghost faces too. You could use those and fill the glass with milk to make ghost drinks!

4 Spooky Desserts

We had so much fun making all of these!

1. Ghost Pudding Cup

Supplies: plastic cup, black Sharpie, chocolate sprinkles & instant vanilla pudding (prepared according to package)

Directions: Use Sharpie to draw a ghost face on the plastic cup. Fill the cup with pudding and top with sprinkles before putting the pudding into the fridge to harden.

2. Frankenstein Pudding Cup

Supplies: plastic cup, black Sharpie, chocolate sprinkles, instant vanilla pudding (prepared according to package) & green food dye

Directions: Use Sharpie to draw Frankenstein’s face on the plastic cup. While mixing the pudding, add in green food dye. Fill the cup with pudding and top with sprinkles before putting the pudding into the fridge to harden.

3. Creepy Crawler Dirt Pudding

Supplies: plastic cup, instant chocolate pudding (prepared according to package), crushed Oreos & gummy worms

Directions: Fill the cup with pudding and top with crushed Oreos before putting the pudding into the fridge to harden. When you take it out of the fridge, add the gummy worms to the “dirt”.

4. Pumpkin Jello Cup

Supplies: plastic cup, black Sharpie & orange Jello mix.

Directions: Use Sharpie to draw a pumpkin face on the plastic cup. Fill the cup with orange Jello before putting it into the fridge to harden. Here’s an even easier way to make these: Buy plastic cups of orange Jello that are already made and just draw a pumpkin face on the plastic container!

Enjoy all of your Halloween celebrations!
