Soulful Sessions With Classic Kids

August 31, 2015

A few weeks ago we took a trip back to Classic Kids in New York City. I have a lot of pictures of my kids, but none quite like the incredible photos taken at Classic Kids last year. Last time we went, I was pregnant with Tommy and just had pictures taken of Maggie and Alex. This time, I was excited to get baby pictures taken of Tommy and some pictures of my “crew of three”.

As usual, the kids had a blast with the fun, cheerful photographers. This time both Lindsay and Darya worked with us. They are both incredibly talented photographers and I was shocked at how long they kept the attention of all three kids. While we were there, they took a few photos of each of the kids, on their own, in color. Right now they are working on a beautiful series of photo sessions called Soulful Sessions. The sessions feature brand new studio styling and work to capture the beauty of children’s eyes, the window to the soul.

I’ve only seen a sneak peek at the “soulful shots” they got of Maggie, Alex and Tommy, but I can certainly say they “hit the nail on the head” with capturing each child’s personality perfectly. These are pictures I will cherish forever, and photos I most definitely could not have captured myself. I’m so thankful that Lindsay and Darya took the time to talk, laugh and play with the kids while taking the photos. I think this helped them get these truly perfect shots of the kids and real Soulful Sessions. Now I can’t wait to see how the rest of the pictures came out. To set up a Soulful Session at Classic Kids be sure to book before September 12th. More details:
