This Week’s Giveaway: A Chance to Shop The Land of Nod for The Holidays!

The Land of Nod holiday catalog arrived & my kids can’t put it down! Maggie goes page by page selecting her favorites & along the way explains to Alex how they have to be “really really good” if Santa is going to have the elves make these toys for our house. I was happy to hear the girls also discussing toys that they would pick for their cousins & friends. Julie & I selected some special items for our little ones. We can’t wait for them to open these gifts Christmas morning. It was tough to choose just a few items, but here is what will be under our trees this year:
Maggie is getting this adorable “It There a Doctor in the House?” set. We have had 2 plastic doctor sets that have broken. They loved playing with them & I am excited to give Maggie this nice wood set. Also, it comes with a “medical record” note pad. Maggie loves scribbling notes & pretending she is writing, so this will be a lot of fun for her!
Next, Maggie is getting this Wear the Wild Things dress up set. This is one of her favorite things to look at in the catalog. She loves all dress up clothes, but lately really likes pretending she is an animal. It was a tough choice, but I went with the bear, because she likes to recite “Brown Bear” & read it to Alex. There is also a fox, panda, bunny & tiger. 

I wanted to pick something that Maggie & Alex could play with together, so I chose the adorable, wooden, Let’s Go Fishing Game. It’s a cute way to practice colors & numbers.
Alex’s big Christmas gift is going to be this awesome metal shopping cart. This cart is sturdy steel & the front wheels pivot. Alex loves shopping carts. Every time we go to a toy store, she immediately finds the toy carts & pushes them around. We have one grocery store in town that has mini shopping carts & she loves to push one behind me while I shop. She  even picks our her favorite snacks & puts them in her cart. She is going to be so excited to get one of her own!
Now onto Julie’s crew! 
Aiden & Andrew are getting this big, wooden Fire Station & Accessories. 
They are also getting the Firefighters & Accessories. Her boys love firefighters (did you see their Halloween costumes?). They are going to have so much fun playing with this together!

This Christmas, it’s time for some girl toys in Julie’s house! Sweet little Abby will be getting one of The Land of Nod’s Hello Dolls. Julie picked “Suzy Q” as a special gift for Abby’s 1st Christmas.
