Miles is 9 months old. With all of my babies, I’ve found 9 months to be a time of lots of firsts. Just in the past week few weeks, we’ve seen Miles clap hands for the first time, do “so big” for the first time and he’s on the brink of crawling. We’ve seen a lot of first “scooting” to get toys and we know he’s about to take off!

Over the past few weeks, there’s also been a first for me as a mom: first pack of non-national brand diapers. Yes I know, I could have been saving a lot of money over the past 7 years. I suppose I just stuck with what I knew when it came to diapers and wipes and didn’t shop around to save money (not smart, I know).

We tried out Well Beginnings diapers and wipes from Walgreens. I’ve found that they are really high quality and a good value alternative to national brands. We shop at Walgreens a lot, because it’s honestly a lot easier for me to take all the kids there quickly  than into a big grocery store. We’re constantly in the Walgreens baby aisle getting tons of other items, so it makes sense to grab Well Beginnings diapers and wipes while were there too. Well Beginnings is exclusive to Walgreens.

So just in time for another big first: Miles’ First Christmas, I’ll be saving money on diapers and wipes to use for holiday gifts. Well Beginnings has a now has an everyday low price of $6.99 for a package of diapers. Which is pretty hard to pass up.

Besides for the low price, two things that I like about Well Beginnings:

  1. There’s a 12 hour leakage protection. Miles was constantly wetting through diapers at night and these seem to do the trick.
  2. The waist is really soft and stretchable which is key for my little guy that’s on the verge of crawling
