September 19, 2013

For more Halloween inspiration, visit our Seasonal tab at the top of our page or follow our Pinterest boards for our latest pins!

One of my favorite things about Halloween is all of the parties. I think it’s fun to attend Halloween parties & to throw a parties too. Whether you are looking to throw a big bash or just for some ideas for your little one’s classroom party, we hope you find some fun ideas for your Halloween party planning!

First, we are excited to share some FREE Halloween printables. We love the designs at Sweet Birdie’s nest. They always have the cutest invitations, notecards & party ideas. If you are looking for a Halloween party invite, we love their latest design. The free set of printables below, includes a fun banner, Halloween note cards & even a great snack bag topper. Bag toppers are great for party goodie bags or sending in Halloween treats to the classroom. Be sure to visit Sweet Birdie’s Nest for more great party planning ideas.

CRAFT:

DIY Sparkly Cat Masks

Supplies: card stock, black construction paper, hole punch, scissors, glue, glitter glue or glitter, ribbon

Directions: Draw a cat mask shape on card stock & cut out. Trace & cut out the same shape with the black paper. Glue the black paper to the card stock. Punch holes & add ribbon (for tying onto the kids’ heads). Let each child decorate their mask using glitter glue, glitter, stickers, etc.

FOOD:

Ghosts: Popcorn in white cupcake wrappers with sliced olive eyes.

Pumpkins: peanut butter sandwiches cut into circles with carrots faces & green bean stems.

Eyes: grapes

DESSERTS:

Spider Web Cupcakes

Iced cupcakes // chocolate sprinkles // Surf Sweets Gummy Spiders

No Halloween party is complete without Halloween Oreos!

DECOR:

We love the Halloween decor from Shoppe 3130. They have everything you need to throw a great party. Their Halloween paper treat bags are my favorite. The paper pumpkin comes on the bag & can easily be used to personalize. I decided to make them into place settings & then figure kids can use them later on in the party to collect candy. Shoppe 3130 has so much to offer. In addition to party decor, they have some awesome Halloween costumes. Check out Maggie in one of their Halloween tutu costumes last year (she looks so teeny!).

TREATS:

Easy way to make personalized Halloween treats: Preppy Chick Stickers. There are so many designs & they fit perfectly on candy. Use code chirpingmoms20 for 20% off.

OUTFITS:

Maggie’s “M” Halloween dress is from Savannah Stitches. This shop has some great, unique personalized Halloween outfits. This comfy dress is perfect for school!
