The Chirping Moms

With You From The Start

March 22, 2018

Disclosure: This post is sponsored by EverywhereAgency on behalf of Carter’s; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

When I was at Carter’s the other day, picking out Easter outfits for the kids, I realized something: I’ve been shopping there for exactly 25 years.

25 years ago, a Carter’s opened near the house I grew up in and a few days before Spring Break my mom took me shopping there. We were getting ready to do to Disney World and when we pulled out my summer clothes, my mom realized I needed the next size and even though it was already my bedtime, she let me go shopping with her. I can remember the shopping trip like it was yesterday, I was so excited for the trip we were going on but even more excited to go clothes shopping at night with my mom.

A few years later, at this same time of year, I was in middle school and my mom and I took a trip back to Carter’s. I had outgrown the clothes but this time we were shopping for a charity that our school was supporting for a local homeless shelter for new moms. I can very clearly remember spending time with my mom, talking about how much these babies would need the items we were picking out. This is another shopping trip that really sticks out in my memories with my mom.

Fast forward a few more years to finding out I was pregnant for the first time. The first place I went, to buy my very first baby outfit was Carter’s. I didn’t know if I was having a boy or a girl, so the outfit was white with little dogs on it. Since that day, all four of my babies have worn that same outfit and so many of the baby clothes I bought at Carter’s

So, when I saw Carter’s new “With You From The Start” video, I cried. Have you see it? Click here to watch, it’s really so sweet.

With You From The Start

Carter’s has been there from the start with all of my babies. From the outfits they came home from the hospital in to play clothes to first day of school clothes….

Carter’s was there when we announced that Maggie was no longer going to be an only child…

There when Maggie and Alex got their first matching dresses…

Carter’s was there the first time I put a baby in Firetruck pajamas (after many years of pink!)….

And there as I say goodbye to the days of onesies and tiny baby clothes I have been washing for years…

This spring, Carter’s is there while I watch my two youngest grow from just siblings into being best friends. Last year a baby and toddler, this year a toddler and preschooler. They are wild, crazy and a real duo now. Their big sisters are at school all day now and when I watch them play it reminds me how fast these days go and how I’ll blink and they’ll be in school too. So for now, I’m enjoying the little moments and lots of Carter’s toddler clothes.

Like morning’s spent hanging out in pjs….

Our last little one to enjoy the slide I got at a garage sale 7 years ago, that all 4 have loved….

Celebrating that spring is back which means the local farm with the BEST donuts is back open….

And watching the boys “drive” around the neighborhood…. this picture I’ll take back out when he gets his license!

Carter’s has been with our family for a long time and will be until the last of our children outgrows the biggest size they sell. Take a minute to watch the video, it’s a good one: Carter’s With You From The Start.

How cute are these littles! My kids wore Carters too when they were babies and are still wearing OshKosh. Love that family of brands.

This is so cute that you have a big history with Carters and have memories of shopping there when you were little! Your little ones are adorable and have such cute clothes!

Aw, they are too cute. My son didn’t wear Carters as I didn’t know about them when he was little but my nieces wear them every day. I love the brand and that they are made for families.
