The Chirping Moms

Holiday Ready with YearCheer

March 7, 2022

You know I love celebrating holidays. There is no holiday “too small” to put up decorations or have a themed meal for. From Valentine’s Day to National Donut Day there’s plenty to celebrate. Celebrating, even in small ways, makes an ordinary day special. If there’s anything the past few years have taught us: don’t take enjoying time with family and friends for granted. We also learned how to celebrate in new ways (hello car parades!). For someone that loves holidays and celebrating, finding YearCheer was a blast. Today I’m sharing a YearCheer coupon code, giveaway and more about this cool subscription!

While I have loved celebrating and decorating for holidays for as long as I can remember (I used to host holiday celebrations for dolls as a kid) it can easily lead to stress. Often I think “I have to decorate because I did last year” and each year is not the same as far as what’s going on in LIFE.

This is why I think YearCheer is such a genius subscription for families…

What is YearCheer:

YearCheer was created by a mom to help other busy moms create awesome moments and fun memories for their kids without all the hours spent on the internet overwhelmed by the options, multiple trips to stores around town, late nights after everyone is in bed – scrounging around trying to create that “magical” moment for your family.

Why we love YearCheer:

It’s FUN, festive and everything you need all in one box with 0 trips to the store. My kids love decorating for holidays and this is such a great way to simplify what I used to do (and less trips to the store = less spending). We’ve now enjoyed January, February and March.

In our January box we had the BEST NYE decor and so many fun ideas for celebrating New Year’s with kids. For February… I have always done a “Valentine table” for the kids the morning of where it’s decorated super festive. This year it was stress free: the night before I had everything I needed and more to decorate.

March… well you can see here that we are loving the St. Patrick’s Day fun in the March box. Order one ASAP because the last day for March orders is March 9th!

What is included with a YearCheer Box:

Each YearCheer box will help you:

1. Decorate – Our decorations and table setting can be set up in less than 10 minutes and always look great.

2. Connect – YearCheer delivers fun activities and games that are ready right out of the box to allow you to instantly create
moments of true connection whenever the time is right for you.

3. Have Fun – We deliver kid tested surprises that are fun for kids of all ages – but
especially for kids age 3-10.

YearCheer makes a GREAT gift:

From birthday parties to hostess gifts, sometimes you run out of good ideas for gifts. YearCheer makes a great gift. The box comes with some many cool things that kids and adults would love to receive one!

A Note from the Founder:

I love finding businesses run by moms. When asked “what advice would you give another busy mom with a great business idea?” the found of YearCheer, Katie, replied:

First of all, congratulations on having a great idea! Many people hear a little voice in their head sharing ideas with them, but few ever take action to bring them into the world. Bringing a new business idea into the world is exciting, scary, and a lot of hard work. The advice. I would give another busy mom is three key things. 1. Launch before your are ready. This is one of the hardest things, especially if you have perfectionist tendencies. It’s important to get your idea out in the world and understand market fit before you have “the perfect packaging, messaging, email flows, a huge list, etc.”

You learn so much in the early days of business and it’s great to test, iterate and learn with a smaller base when your product and processes can still be updated and changed. 2. Test and iterate – As part of the “launch before you are ready” process, I highly recommend prototyping and testing your idea with your target audience before you launch.

Before we ever launched YearCheer, I took a simple box with the concept of my idea to the local pool and talked to some moms I didn’t know very well to get their thoughts about the idea. It was scary to put myself out there with just a “prototype” of the idea, but the insights that I gained helped shape the product and made our business much more successful. 3. Celebrate the small wins along the way! In business, it can be easy to be so focused on our big goals and the future business that you are trying to build that you don’t stop and celebrate the small wins along the way. There are going to be plenty of challenges that take your attention and energy, so intentionally stopping to pause and celebrate how far you have come on your journey to build a business is so important.
