3 Fun & Easy Fall After School Snacks!

October 3, 2013

For more fall inspiration, visit our Seasonal tab at the top of our page or follow our Pinterest boards for our latest pins!

We are in “fall” mode around here, despite the heat wave that has struck the East Coast.  Our kitchen is filled with apples from our apple picking venture and Halloween items from the festive Halloween aisle at Target!  To create some easy after school snacks, I used a little creativity with what we hand on hand to create some fun snacks this week!

1.  Fall Skewers:
Cut apples and carrots into pieces.  Skewer carrots, apples, and “ghost” marshmallows together and serve!

2.  Halloween Snack Mix:
Mix Halloween chocolate chips, ghost marshmallows, and Halloween pretzels (and any other fun items you have on hand) together.  My kids LOVED this!

3.  Decorate your own “pumpkin” orange:
Use sharpies (just remember they are permanent!) to decorate your pumpkin (orange) before eating!

Thanks for sharing, my picky eater would appreciate those fall kabobs and mix! Never thought of the orange idea either!
