Is anyone else at the point that saying “who wants to watch a movie?” has lost any excitement? I think my kids have watched more tv in the past 6 weeks than they have the past 6 years. I used to get kids that would jump for joy for a movie on a Friday night to a bunch of “ughhhhh no thanks” when I mention a movie… the tv is losing it’s luster for sure. Also, we hit this time home at a strange tv watching place for my kids: my 2 oldest are wanting to only watch non cartoon movies and that’s new for us. They think it’s really cool to watch movies I watched as a kid but I was having trouble remembering more of my favorites after we watched Parent Trap and Mrs. Doubtfire.
