The Chirping Moms

A Special Way to Help Newtown, CT (& giveaway)

January 13, 2013

We’d like to share something that one of our past sponsors has going on in her Etsy shop. Molly, the owner of Whale of a Sign, has designed a new sign in her shop that reads “Choose Love”. They are painted in the Sandy Hook Elementary School’s colors: green & white. These signs are only $10 (& ship for free). 100% of profits go to the United Way of Western Connecticut for the Newtown families. This is such a nice, easy way to help! It’s also such a great sign to have your house & such an important message for all kids to read every day. The signs would make a great gift too!

Julie & I have purchased one to pass along to one of our readers. You can enter to win below. Be sure to visit Whale of a Sign & help Molly in her support of Newtown, CT.

This is lovely, something I want to instill in my children is that "Everyone is Important".

My husband's grandma always said "It is nice to be important, but it is more important to be nice". We used that one alot!
