Arts & Crafts Fun Without A Mess {& Giveaway}

October 30, 2013

Putting the “treat” into trick or treat this week with a few more fun giveaways for y’all!  Read on for this fun giveaway for little ones!

I really enjoyed doing arts & crafts with Maggie & Alex. The thing that keeps me from doing more: the set up & clean up. If we are going to break out the glue, paint, or especially…..glitter, it better be a day that no one is coming over to our house. It takes forever to clean up after a craft with a toddler & a preschooler. In the summer, we do most crafts outside, so the mess stays outside too. In the winter, I try to find some “sets” that are fun, easy to set up & clean up. I recently found 2 new ones that have been a hit in our house: PomTree Craft Kits & you’ll have to check back tomorrow for the other one.

PomTree has a variety of craft kits to entertain your kids. They are designed to enrich creative minds, but with “no glue and no mess”.  They are very reasonably priced. I was actually very surprised by the quality & how many “supplies” are in each kit, for the price.

These are our favorites:

Swing Along Pet Playhouse: Maggie loves everything “pets” lately. The 2 of us had so much fun building this play set. We didn’t need glue or scissors & everything to build this play set is in the box. We built it 2 weeks ago & she still plays with it every day. She always says, “I can’t believe we built this Mom!”.

Sticker Tubs: for $6.99 these tubs have SO many awesome stickers. There are foam stickers, fuzzy stickers & regular stickers. We have the “Backyard Bugs” and I am planning on getting each of the girls another tub for their stocking.

Our Day on the Town Sticker Storybook: This is the perfect “busy book”. Maggie has done a few pages, but I tucked the book away to save it for our flight to London next week. There are pages of stickers that coordinate with the story. Maggie colors the pages & puts the stickers in place herself. She says she is “writing a book” when she works on it!

I am excited to give away a PomTree Craft Kit to one lucky winner. All of their sets would make great holiday gifts! The winner can choose any set they would like (subject to availability). Check back tomorrow for another fun activity for kids & another giveaway.

I was not compensated for this post. I did receive items from PomTree for the purpose of review. As always, all opinions are my own.
