Bath Time Favorites {& Giveaway}

When we had our bathroom renovated this summer, we got rid of our old bath toys. They were starting to get pretty grimy & had done their fair share of runs in the dishwasher for cleaning. When the bathroom was done, I was on the hunt for a few new toys for the bath. We enjoy the foam letters & anything that “decorates” the walls. I found these cute sea creatures from iPlay. The iPlay Green Sprouts Sea Friends Bath Toy is 5 pieces that are PVC and Formamide free. Lot’s of times bath toys end up in the mouth, so safe toys are key for us. Maggie & Alex love The Little Mermaid & playing with anything ocean related, so they love this set.


3 of our favorite things to do in the bath:

1. Have dessert! Some nights, as a treat, my kids get an ice pop & eat it in the bath. In the summer we take them outside, but in the cold weather it’s a great way to avoid a mess & the kids think it’s funny to have dessert in the bath!

2. Paint with Yogurt! Painting with yogurt in the bath is a great rainy day activity. For more on this activity, check out this post. 

3. Manicures!  I fill cups with a lot of soapy bubbles & give the girls paint brushes. They “paint their nails” & even take turns painting each others nails. It’s fun & cleans their dirty nails.

  2. NOTHING!! My son still screams the whole time he takes a bath! So frustrating! I'm up to try new stuff though…until I find something that works, he will continue to hug me the entire time he bathes…lol

  10. Rubber ducks. When I bring my 1 year old into the bathroom, first thing she does is find her ducks and throw them into the tub, and then she tries to climb in.
