Back To School & Fall Clothes

July 18, 2013

Another fun part about heading back to school: school clothes! When we think of back to school clothes, we often think of fall clothes & sweaters, but let’s face it, the first couple months of school can be pretty hot. My favorite way to shop for school clothes is to first check out the late summer sales. You can often get the great, quality of clothing at almost half the price. Starting tomorrow, during our Back to School Yellow Friday event, we’ll have GREAT deals on all of the brands below. We decided to share deals from some of our favorite ways to shop: Etsy, small business, Facebook & companies owned by moms! Here’s a sneak peak at the fun places you’ll be able to shop this weekend (coupon codes will be listed tomorrow morning):

Seesaw Society

I was recently introduced to this fantastic kids’ clothing line. It’s run by two moms with a crew of kids between them. They are dedicated to producing exquisite, quality pieces for the little loves in your lives. They also happen to be from one of my favorite places on earth: Chicago. Maggie’s Seesaw Society sailboat dress was a hit on the beach for 4th of July & I can’t wait for her to wear some of their “Tea Party” collection to preschool come September.

Olivia & Owen

If you follow our blog, you know I’m a big fan of Olivia & Owen. I was lucky enough to meet the moms behind this line at their pop up shop in NYC this spring. The Olivia & Owen pink seersucker outfits are my favorite matching outfits Maggie & Alex have. The quality of these clothes are outstanding. In addition to getting some clothes for back to school, you can use the code to grab what’s left of their patriotic wear for next summer! Olivia & Owen also has great basics for back to school: polos, blouses & boy’s shorts.

Curious Georgia

We featured this wonderful Etsy shop back in February with their Valentine’s Day designs. We’re excited to have Curious Georgia back on the blog with their great “back to school” clothes! Also, if you’re shopping Yellow Friday this weekend & don’t have school aged kids, this shop has everything  – even baby gifts!

Smock Candy

This lovely company hosts Facebook sales with great deals on boutique children’s clothes. They host sales Wednesday nights at 8pm & always have a great assortment. Another great thing about Smock Candy: the shipping is always free! Love smocked clothes? You are not going to believe the deal they are offering tomorrow!

Spark & Spark

Now for some back to school accessories! Spark & Spark has a fun assortment of bag tags, notebooks, water bottles & more. Their designs are bright, fun & can all be personalized.
