Happy March 1st! March is here and that means 1 month until Easter. Since I was a little kid, we’ve had a bunny shaped cake at Easter. The first Easter I spent away from my family, was the first Easter I spent with my husband’s family. I was pretty excited to see his family celebrates with a bunny cake as well. As someone that’s pretty poor at baking, I was determined to still be able to bake a great bunny cake for my kids.

Alright, ready to “Hop to it”? After some practice, here’s my Easy Bunny Cake!

How to Make an Easter Bunny Cake:

Bunny Cake Ingredients:

    1. M&M’S® Caramel Laydown Bag
    2. STARBURST® Original Jellybeans Laydown Bag
    3. Yellow or white cake mix (and required ingredients)
    4. Vanilla frosting

Bunny Cake Directions:

Follow the directions on the boxed cake mix to make a cake. Use 1 round cake pan and one 8×8 pan. Let cool and remove from pans. Place the round cake on the tray you are going to use to display the cake. Draw a bunny ear on a piece of paper. Cut it out and use it as a stencil to cut 2 ears out of the 8×8 cake. Place the ears on the circle and frost the whole cake. Use the M&M’S® Caramel to fill in the ears with some pink and for the bunny’s eyes and nose. Use the STARBURST® Original Jellybeans to make the bunny’s whiskers and mouth. Enjoy the cake!

This year, Mars and Wrigley helping to make Easter easier and more affordable with their simple baking, decorating and basket building treats at Walmart. We bought all of the ingredients at Walmart and had fun hopping around the Easter aisle.

We used M&M’S® Caramel and STARBURST® Original Jellybeans
because there great for baking and Easter decorating! Who’s ready to “hop to it” and head to Walmart for Easter prep?
