March is finally here. That means spring is just a couple week’s away, followed by Easter. March also means that we are just about ready to pack up coats and boots and trade them for shorts, dresses and sandals. It’s time to prep for dressing kids for Easter and spring weather. I’m so happy to share today’s “Friday Favorites”, La Coqueta. La Coqueta is a beautiful line of Spanish clothing for babies and children.
I discovered La Coqueta thanks to Instagram and it immediately reminded me of all of the beautiful children’s shops I would see in Europe. It’s no secret that I love children’s clothes and try many different brands. I can honestly say that I have never seen such pretty dresses for little girls.
It’s hard to tell in photos, but the quality, the details and the classic style of La Coqueta is really something special. Also, my girls would like to add: the comfort. We have had many pretty dresses that while they look nice, the girls beg not to wear them for more than a minute. These dresses they want to wear all the time. They are so soft and just so lovely.
The girls also needed new dress shoes for Easter. I ordered them each a pair in their favorite color and I am not sure I’ve ever seen such sweet dress shoes.
La Coqueta also has boys clothes. The styles are nice for Easter but also comfortable and easy to wash for lots of play. I love that the clothes all look nice together and coordinate while not matching exactly. La Coqueta is the perfect place to find sibling outfits for Easter.
La Coqueta: Spanish Clothes for Babies and Children
Just a bit more about the brand: The founder of La Coqueta is Celia Munoz, a mother of five. She felt there was a need for traditional, timeless fashion for children which also incorporates a chic and contemporary style for our modern world. She says “our clothing and shoes are beautifully made, functional and hard-wearing. As a mother of five, I know how important it is to find easy care clothes that stand the test of time, can be passed on to the next baby and still look great.”
I would agree 100%: It’s not easy to find timeless, classic clothes for kids anymore and La Coqueta fills that void in the market. I would also agree that the clothes are functional and hard wearing – my 4 have La Coqueta styles they can wear for Easter and also to the park.
