Easy DIY Christmas Decor: Fabric Covered Cones

I am getting ready to break out the boxes Christmas decor tomorrow. One thing I knew I wanted to add to the mix this year: three tier trees. I had seen something like it in Crate & Barrel when I was in Chicago a few years ago. I looked for ides on Pinterest & saw some that you can make with poster board. I am terrible when it comes to tracing/cutting anything, so all of the directions for those scared me. I decided to try & find cones already made & just cover them. What I ended up with is a cheap, fast way to make some festive Christmas trees!
Supplies:
Foam cones in 3 sizes. You can find these in the craft store where they have foam inserts for flower arrangements. 
Fabric: amount depends on the size of the 3 cones you get
Hot glue
Push pins (not totally necessary)
Decor: I got a string of star ornaments at Target for $1 & cut the 3 stars apart
The beads are a tube of $2 garland, also from Target
Directions:
Leave the plastic on the cones. I think the glue sticks better this way. 
Cut a piece of fabric that is big enough to cover the cone. 
Make a line of hot glue down the cone from the point, down to the widest part.
Take one end of the fabric & stick the fabric to the line of glue.
Now just keep adding glue to the cone & rolling the cone on the fabric (see below)
When the cone is covered, trim the top & bottom, leaving enough fabric to fold & pin like you would when wrapping a gift. 
If you don’t have push pins, just fold & glue.
Next, take the beads & glue the end of the strand to the top of the cone.
Make a spiral of hot glue down the whole cone & then glue the beads down the cone
Last, glue the star at the top!
