This Father’s Day let the kids make their own gifts that let Dad know he’s their MVP. If your child has a sports fan to celebrate this Father’s Day, we’ve got some great DIY gifts. These are a cute way to switch it up from traditional Father’s Day crafts to really let Dad know he’s #1. There’s even a FREE printable for you to use! Below are 3 creative sports themed crafts to make at home.

1.) Fun Father’s Day Photo Card

This photo card idea is perfect for your “award winning” Dad!

Supplies:

Photo of child with outstretched arm

Scissors

Glue

Cardstock paper

Trophy stickers (optional)

Markers

Directions: We tried 2 versions. For one, had the kids use gold trophy stickers I found at the craft store. For another version I had them draw themselves holding something Dad would like. Maggie drew a gold club!

2.) #1 Dad Trophy

Get out the paint and glue for this one!

Supplies:

Solo Cup

Pipe cleaners

Gold or Silver Paint

Paint brush

Pasta

Glue

Small piece of paper to write “#1 Dad”

Directions:

First paint the cup & let it dry. Paint the pasta & let it dry. Bend pipe cleaners to look like handles & glue to cup. Glue the pasta around the cup. Glue on little sign that says “#1 Dad”. Give Dad his trophy!

3.) Free Printable Father’s Day Letter for Kids:

Click here to print your Most Valuable Dad letter. Have your child fill in the blanks or for younger children, ask them the questions and fill it in for them.

We hope you and your children enjoy making these fun gifts for your favorite sports fans this Father’s Day!
