Create Your Own Ultimate To Do List Using the Post-it Brand World of Color Collections

June 4, 2015

I’m like the queen of lists.  Seriously.  I have lists all over the house.  Grocery lists, errand lists, and to-do lists.  I even have lists on things that are less important:  books I want to read, things to do with the kids, & recipes that I want to cook.  I have so many random lists all over the house that sometimes I can’t even find the lists when I am looking for them.  So I decided to spend some time and get my lists organized by creating the Ultimate To Do List.  I love how it turned out, so I wanted to share it with you.  All you need are the free printables that I created below & some of your favorite Post-it Notes!

Now with my Ultimate To Do List, I have all my random lists gathered in one place.  Thanks to my love for Post-it Notes, I can have all my lists gathered in one spot but easily identifiable with different colors.

For the first part of the Ultimate To Do List, I created a weekly calendar.  For each day, I have left a space for a daily Post-it Note.  On each Post-it Note, I can fill out what needs to be done for the day.  And the rule is that if it doesn’t fit on this little Post-it Note, then it has to go to another day.  This allows me to organize & quickly plan my day with a glance at the weekly to-do lists.  I love using different colored Post-it Notes on the planner from the new Post-it Brand World of Color collections that recently became available.  In each collection pack, there are several bright & beautiful colors to use that color coordinate with one another. By using a coordinating set of Post-it Notes  it makes it super easy to organize & looks beautiful hanging on the wall.  I chose Post-it Notes from the vibrant Marrakesh collection, perfect for bright and sunny summer days. Hang your Ultimate To Do list somewhere that is easy for you & for everyone in your family to see so it’s easy for everyone to know what is on the agenda for the week.

For the second part of the Ultimate To Do list, I created common weekly list categories.  Again, I used Post-it Notes from the Post-it Brand World of Color collections that color coordinate with one another to help make it easy to organize & visually appealing.  There is a spot for meals, which includes dinner & special lunches and breakfasts that I need to include.  There is a place for a Post-it Note full of errands that need to be run.  And two more Post-it Note spaces for chores and fun activities to do with the kids that week.  At the bottom on the Ultimate To Do list, I created a spot to put several random notes (or lists) to myself.  This could include a grocery list, appointments to schedule, workout goals, & whatever you desire.  Just write your memo on a Post-it Note & add to the list.

To hang, I just printed each page & hung on a memo board in our kitchen for all to see.    Since you are writing on the actual To Do list, thanks to the use of Post-it Notes, you could laminate the To Do list & use it over and over again.  Below I am sharing these free printables for you to print and use.

Post-it Notes have always been a favorite for my list-making self.  This year, Post-it Notes are available in a range of exciting new colors inspired by colors from cities around the world in the Post-it Brand World of Color collections.  Collections in this Post-it Brand series include:  the expressive & dramatic colors from the Rio de Janeiro collection, the paradise inspired collection from Bora Bora, the reflective & thoughtful collection from Bali, the city-inspired collection from New York, & more.
