Two things Julie & I had in common, long before we started this blog, was that we loved to find handmade unique items on Etsy & loved finding great online shopping deals. When we started our blog, we found that we really enjoyed working with many of these Etsy shops & sharing some of the “gems” we find on the internet with our readers.
Then, last month, this happened:
One of the brands we are working with, saw an item we featured from an Etsy shop & asked us to introduce them to shop owner. What transpired was an awesome partnership with two of our favorite places to shop: Roberta Roller Rabbit & Etsy shop, Opposite of Far.
One afternoon, Alex was pretending to be a cat, wearing her Opposite of Far mask. I posted a picture on Instagram. The Roberta Roller Rabbit team was looking for an animal mask just like the one Alex was wearing, so I got the two companies in touch. It’s been so much fun seeing these pictures, showcasing the two brands working together.
Roberta Roller Rabbit, an offshoot of Roberta Freymann’s original label. I love how the line & brand name came about: it was inspired by a fable about a magical rabbit that Roberta found on a piece of discarded fabric in India. The line is full of colorful prints. You can find apparel for women & children, bedding, housewares & more. Their Classic Kurta has been a summer staple for me for years.
Opposite of Far makes children’s felt masks & accessories. You’ve seen them featured on our blog a few times, including our recent “Love Bugs” post. The shop owen, Jessica, is so creative & puts a lot of hard work into all of her products. My girls love all of the masks they have from Opposite of Far & they wear them all the time.
Both brands featured in this post have great Valentine’s Day items:
