Friday Favorites: Classic Kids Baby Photography

January 15, 2016

Babies: they change and grow so incredibly fast. In fact, from the time I had these photos of Tommy taken in August to the time the fine art prints I ordered arrived, he looked so different I cried when I opened the package. It’s the little things that you might not notice day to day, but when you look at a photo it hits you. For example, when we had these photos taken, Tommy still had his toothless baby smile. Just 4 months later, he smiles and you see a mouthful of teeth. Classic Kids Photography does an incredible job of capturing babies as they grow. From newborns on up, they are there to help you preserve each of their precious stages.

I had planned to take Tommy to  classic kids when he turned 6 months. When I took the girls to Classic Kids for the first time they were 2 and 4, and as I looked around at the tiny baby faces and parts around the studio, I knew it was something I wanted to do when my next baby arrived. Well in typical 3rd child nature, Tommy didn’t get his 6 month appointment at Classic Kids until he was almost 10 months, but we made it there! And I am so glad we did…….

I love all of the photos they took, but the series of baby parts is my favorite. They spent time with Tommy photographing and capturing all the tiny details of “him”. From his teeny toes to the curl behind his ear, they did an incredible job. I will cherish these photos forever. I could stare at this little button nose and baby lips all day!
What makes Classic Kids Photography so unique is that there are so many different types of pictures that come from one photo shoot. From Tommy’s tiny baby parts, to his portraits to these magical moments with his sisters, they miraculously did it all! The truly amazing part: they got all of these different types of photos BEFORE anyone had a meltdown. Lindsay and Darya, the photographers are incredible with children, make them happy and comfortable and all at a fast pace.

They even convinced me to jump into a few photos and I am so glad I did. I have so many pictures of my kids and so few with me in them. To have a picture of me snuggling my little boy with my two girls at my side is treasure.

As if the collection of black and white photos weren’t beautiful enough, Lindsay and Darya managed to get us some color shots in Central Park before the shoot was over. Like I said, heading to Classic Kids for baby pictures is unique experience where they make sure to capture so many special moments. I’m so thankful for their work.

Right now Classic Kids Photography has a fun special going on for Valentine’s Day! You can do a mini photo shoot that comes with 25 classroom Valentine photo cards. Details:
