Friday Favorites: FabKids

This month, I was excited to test out the online subscription clothing service for kids, FabKids.  FabKids is JustFab’s newest fashion club, started by a team of parents including mom and actress, Christina Applegate.  FabKids is a convenient way for busy parents to shop for kids, sizes 2-12.  It’s an outfit club, where parents get monthly selections of affordable and high-quality fashion for their kids delivered right to their doorstep.  Every outfit includes two pieces for just $29.95 (dress with leggings or a shirt with pants).  Unlike many other subscription boxes, One thing that I love about this service is you aren’t obligated to buy every month.  You can buy the outfit you love or skip the month if you would like!

FabKids was founded to empower kids to express their individuality through personalized fashion.  After creating your kids’ style profile, you can shop the recommended outfit picks or click to shop more outfits.  As a FabKids novice, I had a lot of fun online shopping with my five year old.  I used to be able to buy him anything I wanted, but as he has gotten older, he has become more picky about what he wears so it was great to shop with him in the comfort of our own house while his siblings were napping.  There were approximately twenty different outfits that he could choose, many where the tops and bottoms were mixed and matched.  Thankfully, his top choice was one of my favorites: the plaid denim outfit!

I was excited to see the FabKids blue box on my doorstep when I arrived home one afternoon.  We quickly opened it up to find the fun bright button-down shirt, perfect for the end of winter/beginning of spring transition.  And I love the stylish dark colored denim jeans, especially with the inside adjustable waistband (perfect for my skinny petite five year old) and the cutest waistband detail (see below)! Both are great wardrobe pieces to add to his closet at a great price without even having to head to the store.
