Fun With BENDASTIX {& Giveaway}

November 1, 2013

Yesterday, I posted about some fun arts & crafts sets that are mess free. Tonight I have another:

BENDASTIX.  These awesome kits come with soft construction pieces that let your kids design jewelry, robots, flowers, etc. They are very reasonable ($6.99- $19.99) & would make a great gift.

It says they are for ages 6 & up, but if you are going to do the activities with your kids, I think they are suitable for younger kids too. My girls had a blast with the sets!

Because Maggie & Alex can’t tie yet, I actually thought BENDASTIX were easier for them to make jewelry because you just squeeze the pieces & they bend & fit on your wrist. Maggie couldn’t believe the kit included hot pink “diamonds”!

After we created tons of jewelry, we moved onto a kit making robots. These were awesome to create & even Alex really got into it. When they were done, their robots “came to life” & joined the other figurines in the doll house. Maggie even came up with a robot voice for her creation.

 The pieces in all of the kits have bright patterns & give your kids’ creations a fun pop art look.  We made a little video of our BENDASTIX creations, but you can see a lot more on YouTube. You can also see fun ideas of things to make with your BENDASTIX on Facebook.

We are excited to send a kit to one lucky reader! The winner of this giveaway can select the kit if their choice (subject to availability & not The Big Box).
