The Chirping Moms

DIY Halloween Candy Bowl

October 14, 2012

For more Halloween inspiration, visit our Seasonal tab at the top of our page or follow our Pinterest boards for our latest pins!

As  part of our 31 Days for Moms, we have to share a little about one of our favorite girls’ night’s out.  Have you done a Pinterest night with your friends yet?!?!?!  If not, add it to your must-do list in the next couple months.  Gather a bunch of friends.  Pick out some of those many crafts that you have pinned, but yet to do.  Buy supplies (whoever organizes gathers all the supplies and then everyone chips in their amount—usually ten dollars or less).  Everyone can bring Pinterest inspired recipes, drinks, and/or just a bottle of wine—because you all know that us moms need our wine!  And eat, drink, and craft the night away!  We are going to share some of our creations and recipes over the next couple weeks, but today I have the easiest Halloween craft for moms today on the blog.  Look how adorable this candy bowl is?!?!
DIY Halloween Candy Jar
Supplies Needed:
  • Glass Marker
  • Glass Bowl (Found this one at AC Moore for 70 cents!)
  • Ribbon (Black, Orange, or anything that is Halloween related!)
Directions:
Make a pumpkin face on the glass bowl with glass marker.  Tie ribbon around the top of the bowl.  Now, you have one adorable bowl to share all your great Halloween candy!
