Halloween Finds for Teens and Tweens

September 23, 2024

Today I’ve rounded up some Halloween finds for teens and tweens. Get ready for some fun, spooky, and stylish finds that are sure to be deemed “cool”.

As Halloween approaches, teens and tweens are eager to get into the spooky spirit, but finding the perfect balance between fun and age-appropriate can be tricky. Whether they’re looking to deck out their space with eerie decor, pick out the trendiest costumes, or plan a Halloween bash with friends, there are countless ways to celebrate the holiday in style. From glow-in-the-dark pajamas to DIY crafts that inspire creativity, Halloween offers endless opportunities for teens and tweens to express their festive side.

If you’ve followed this blog for a while, you know I love DIY Halloween everything: costumes, parties, decor etc. Just because the kids are getting older, my house isn’t getting any less festive… or should I say spooky…. There are plenty of ways to still add fun around the holidays even if they don’t want to sit and craft or read Halloween story books with you.

Let’s dive into some of the best Halloween finds this year that cater to the interests of teens and tweens alike!

Halloween Finds for Teens and Tweens

Halloween Pajamas and Lounge

I have been getting my kids festive Halloween pajamas since they were babies. I thought there was no way my teens would get excited for Halloween pajamas anymore but then I spotted some really cute, in expensive, Halloween silk pj sets. There’s an orange Halloween print that’s cute and also this black and white ghost set. I might even get myself a pair! If your teens and tweens are not into pajamas sets, these Halloween lounge pants come in a ton of different Halloween and fall patterns.  How fun for a Halloween slumber party?!

Festive Footwear for Halloween

Pair any pajamas with these fun jack o lantern slippers or these ghost slippers.

Teens & Tweens love their Crocs! Get wild and go with orange Crocs  for Halloween season. The easier thing to do: get some Halloween jibitz for their Crocs. These are also a fun thing to give out at Halloween parties or Trunk or Treats. Of course you have to pair Crocs with Halloween socks.

Halloween Party Ideas

We have so many cool Halloween events in our town. Once the kids got older, I started doing little parties before of after the Halloween events. This way you can make it a quick, fun and festive gathering but don’t have to necessarily entertain them all night. Look around for things like hayrides, haunted houses, etc nearby that they may enjoy. One party activity that was a hit last year with this age group was Sharpie’s on mini pumpkins – they came up with the coolest designs.

Teens and tweens still love trick-or-treating and “boo-ing” friends. These are some cool supplies for that:

Halloween bracelet making // Halloween spa face masks // Zombie Sour Patch Kids // Spooky Nerd Ropes

Orange Water Bottles

Teens and Tweens love their water bottles. Even if they are not wanting to dress in the Halloween spirt or wear pumpkins and skeletons anymore, they’re sure to get excited over an orange Stanley or a fall colored Owala. There’s also this less expensive orange water bottle that would be fun to add Halloween stickers to.

Halloween Decor for Tweens and Teens

My kids love adding a little something to their rooms for the holidays. At Christmas I go all out – sheets, mini trees, etc. At Halloween we add a pillow or two and a throw blanket. This year they’re begging for LED lights but I fear if those go up for Halloween they’ll become a permanent fixture in the room! Here are a few decor favorites for Halloween:

Pumpkin Knit Blanket // Ghost Sherpa Snuggly Blanket // Halloween Candle // Ghost Shaped Pillow // Ghost Pillow Covers
