Huggies No Baby Unhugged Program

December 14, 2017

Disclosure: This post was sponsored by Huggies as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own

During the holiday season, while we shop for gifts, decorate and attend parties, it’s very easy to get caught up in what we have to do and get done and not stop to think how fortunate we are. There are many people that would be glad to have the means to go out for the day with a list of “people to shop for” or have their biggest problem be a busy calendar of parties to attend. Sometimes when we get caught up in all the things we feel we “must get done” during the holidays, we forget that all of those things are privileges. The best way to show gratitude for all we have at the holidays is to find ways to give back throughout the season.

Diaper Need

There are many toy and gift drives around. There are also many people that are in need of the basics too: like diapers. I was so happy to see that my kid’s preschool was doing a diaper drive this year. Diaper need affects 1 in 3 U.S. families. I couldn’t believe when I heard that statistic and suddenly felt very fortunate to have been able to diaper my babies over the past 8 years.

Huggies No Baby Unhugged

Diapers are important. They keep babies clean, dry and healthy. One way you can help provide diapers to families in need this holiday season is by purchasing Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers at Dollar General. Huggies and Dollar General truly care about helping families in need, especially during the holidays. Right now, for every pack of Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers you purchase at Dollar General (through December 31, 2017) Huggies No Baby Unhugged program will donate a day’s worth of diapers (up to 500,000) and Dollar General will donate $1 (up to $5,000) to the National Diaper Bank Network (NDBN).

The Huggies No Baby Unhugged program warms my heart. “Diaper need” is defined as the struggle to provide enough diapers to keep a baby or toddler clean, dry and healthy.

. It is so hard for me to think that there are many parents in this situation. I can’t imagine wanting to be able to provide my baby with a clean diaper and not have the means to do so. In September 2017, the National Diaper Bank Network and Huggies announced a study, Diaper Need and Its Impact on U.S. Families, revealing that one-in-three U.S. families (36%) struggle with diaper need. Huggies is the founding sponsor of the National Diaper Bank Network. Since 2011, Huggies through its No Baby Unhugged program has provided ongoing support for the organization and has donated more than 200 million diapers and wipes, including critical donations during times of crisis, to those in diaper need.

At the holidays and honestly all year long, I love to support brands that give back. With 2 in diapers, I buy a whole lot of diapers every month. I am so happy that buying them is helping families in need of diapers provide for their babies too.

My two in diapers are both huge Mickey Mouse fans. They are happy to be wearing their Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers this holiday season and I am happy that buying these diapers helps babies in need thrive.
